I Truly Miss Don Jazzy, I Was Married To Him In Music – D’banj Confesses

D’banj and Don Jazzy, no doubt, both dominated the music scene for nine years before the cookies crumbled and they went their separate ways. Today, they have formed individual group, D’banj-DB Records, Don Jazzy-Marvin Record, but something still seems to be connecting the two together.

In an interview recently, D’banj confessed that he really missed Don Jazzy whom he had spent the better part of his career with.

Hear him “If I say I don’t miss Don Jazzy, I am lying. I have spent the better part of my career with him. I was married to him in a way (laughs). So I miss everything about Mo’Hits: the family, the movement, and the vibe of being in the studio with him. I miss the jokes and the arguments, but I have since keyed into the notion that nothing can stop a moving train. Nevertheless we can always do music together. The track, ‘Top of the World’ was produced by a Grammy Award Winner. The songs ‘Finally’ and ‘Don’t Tell Me Nonsense’ was produced by my producer while ‘Oliver Twist’ was produced by Don Jazzy. So, why won’t I have him on my 10 years anniversary album?”

Does Don Jazzy feel this way too? Really, Don Jazzy, who now operates Marvin Records, has not opened up on their issue since their separation, he has remained focused with his business, shunning out hit songs to remain permanently on top of the game. We are waiting if he would indeed accept to feature in D’banj’s 10th anniversary album.

Na wa o! What will I not hear in nigeria, popular actor soji Bankole Popular actor, also known as Ajibade Gbenro on the MNET TV soap opera, Tinsel granted in an interview with Sunday Sun Newspapers.

The actor/model spoke on how he copes with opposite sex and how he handles sexual advances from them. He says sometimes its a threat , he said there are different times guys will walk up to him and say, “good job, it’s not that we really like you but because my girlfriend is always disturbing me that she fell in love"

How do you cope with ladies ?

It’s not easy but I try as much as possible to cope. I believe I have more female fans than male.

Why?

You know ladies, they always patronize a guy that is in their own way a gentleman which I try to be. Let me not blow my trumpet.

What do you mean… is it because of your acting prowess?

You know it comes from there.

Girls are wonderful people. I love hanging-out around them. I actually believe women are spiritual. Every woman is spiritual. I try my best to be with them, although there are boundaries. You know some kind of girls do things crazy, honestly, I wouldn’t let them…

Like what?

The last one that happened was during my recent fashion show trip in Port Harcourt. We finished the show and I think I was trying to change back stage.I had taken off my clothes, so this girl ran to me and within a twinkle of an eye, she held my thing, my thing( pointing to his trouser). I told her don’t touch it . She said “ok, kiss me, if you don’t kiss me, I wont leave it. Kiss me, kiss me”, she screamed adding “if you don’t kiss me I won’t leave it.” I felt like I was chickening- out but that was the only thing I could do. I begged and begged.

In the presence of others?

Yes, people were there looking at me. I started begging . You know me, if it’s too much for me I will beg you. I told her I was sorry. I begged and begged her. People were starring at us.

In fact, the way she did it, the other models were wondering the kind of guts she’s got. But this girl wants to play. I begged and begged and told her, you know what, I will come back for you after the party, so that she can leave my ‘thing’ so that I can feel free. And it worked. Funny!

At Last Wizkid Accepts Baby Paternity...Poses With Son On Instagram

In 2011 it was reported that Starboi/EME Pop singer impregnated an undergraduate named Oluwanishola Ogudugu like others, Wizkid denied the reports vehemently.

The 23-year-old singer posted his first picture of himself and two year old son, Boluwatife on social network Instagram recently and that picture kind o raised eyebrow.

Earlier, a young lady had been sending bloggers a photo of herself and a small boy claiming to be Wizkid’s baby mama. Apparently, her story mute have been confirmed to be true as the boy in her photo is same as the one Wizkid shared on Instagram.

Wizkid is however in a relationship with another woman Tania Omotayo. Sources close to the couple say their relationship is strong, and wizkid's baby mama has moved on with her life and has remained silenced since.

Nollywood actress Steph Nora Okere, who used to be the darling of every movie lover in Nollywood, has resurfaced again after years of her hiding.

The diminutive actress has bounced back to limelight after keeping a low profile due to her burnt face which we gathered was caused by cream reactions. 

Though, for a while, she was making relevance in the TV series before her 'facial cream attack' but now she is okay to grace movie jackets now.
