PHOTOS: Don Jazzy Hangs Out With Ralph Simon In Mauritius

Chairman of the Mavin Music group Don Jazzy met with big time US music entrepreneur Ralph Simon at the African Leadership Network going on in Mauritius.

Ralph Simon was the Co-founder of the independent Zomba Group of music companies (now a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment) in the 1970s.

He was also Executive VP of Capitol Records and Blue Note Records in Hollywood and started EMI Music's global New Media division. He started Yourmobile (later renamed Moviso), the first ring tone company in the Americas, Europe, UK, Australia and Africa, in 1997.

Don Jazzy also gave an inspiring speech at the summit.

Etisalat’s Chief Commercial Officer, Matthew Willsher, said the telcom would continuously delight customers and all Nigerians through music, fashion, sports, lifestyle and uniquely different value-added experiences. “Like we always say, Etisalat is much more than just a network!”

Mary J. Blige rocked an all-black mid-riff baring turtle neck top, leather shorts and knee-length gladiator heels. The multiple award winner and multi-platinum selling artiste took the audience back in time with her famous 90s hits.

Her take on Lagos was up on twitter barely after catching her breath.
