Red Carpet Fab: Women Celebrating Women Conference (WCW) in Lagos
BN Style stars, it’s time for another edition of BN Red Carpet Fab!
Women need one another and once in a while, it is important they get together to celebrate themselves. That was the aim of the Women Celebrating Women Conference on Saturday 15th June 2013 at the Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Although some gentlemen including Praiz, Jay Jay Okocha, Efe Tommy and Musa Danjuma were in attendance, it was the women that stole the show in their stylish outfits.
American singer/TV host Dionne Warwick as well as Tiwa Savage, Waje, Toolz, Caroline Danjuma, Toke Makinwa, Niyola, Justina, Yemi Alade, Tomi Odunsi, Chee, Seyi Shay, Osas Ighodaro andYvonne “Vixen” Ekewere were all invited to the event.
Fashion icon Coco Chanel said ” A girl should be two things – Classy and Fabulous” and since it was an event celebrating women, take a look at what they wore.

There were lots of smiles on the red carpet and TV personality Stephanie Coker‘s wasn’t one to miss. Draped in a black paisley knee length dress with extra blue fabric, she accessorized with gold stud earrings, a gold necklace and black strap heels.
Her look was completed with curly ombre locks and red lipstick.
Tinsel actress Osas Ighodaro smiled on as she posed for the BN cameras in a simple neon knee length dress. Rocking a bob, she styled the dress with a statement neck piece, a gold ring and wrist watch, an ivory bag and blue pumps.
Songstress Seyi Shay wore a rich purple satin one shoulder blouse with electric black pants. A cute fringe, gold hoop earrings, peep-toes and gold jewelry completed the look.
EME first lady Niyola sparkled as she made her way into the Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos for the event in a spaghetti strap grey sequined mini dress. Silver bracelets and heels completed the look.
Chee attended the event in a wine mini Virgos Lounge party dress featuring multi-coloured beaded and sequin encrusted shoulder detail. She styled the dress with gold bracelets, a white wrist watch and black ankle strap heels.
Her look at the event seemed effortless. Her blue strapless romper was accessorized with a gold belt, cream heels and bag.
Can anyone identify her for us? She gave us a hint of glam. Her sheer black blouse was styled with a blue printed skirt, gold jewelry, a black clutch and black heels.

Flower Girl actress Damilola Adegbite made us smile in her androgynous look. The starlet who recently celebrated her 28th birthday party, rocked a pixie cut which gave her a more edgy look.
She styled her white blazer and black-and-white striped pants with silver earrings, a gold necklace, gold and silver jewelry and black heels.

It’s Toolz. The Nigerian media personality wasn’t one to miss at the Women Celebrating Women conference in a light blue chiffon dress. With her dark locks cascading down her shoulders, she styled the dress with drop earrings, a white belt to accentuate her figure, pink sandals and a yellow clutch.

Nigerian chanteuse Tiwa Savage opted for an all white ensemble. Her backless white jumpsuit which features oversized sleeves and flared pants, was styled with silver drop earrings, a diamond ring, a gold bracelet and a sparkly clutch.
Her look was completed with a chic up do, smoky eyes and a Gothic dark pout.
There weren’t many red carpet hits for men at the Women Celebrating Women conference but Praiz didn’t disappoint. The music star wore a dark grey suit, a pink shirt and black shoes.
For music star Waje, it was all about accentuating one of her most famous assets – her killer figure. Rocking a black studded gown with an A-line skirt, she accessorized with gold drop earrings, a selection of jewelry and red peep toes. Her long locks and nude lipstick finished the look.
On-air-personality Omoye “Brownie” Uzamere showed up at the event in a blue gown but it was her choice of accessories that made it a must see look. She opted for a black fascinator, beads for her neck and a purple-and-red clutch.
