Speaking on the idea, Chief Executive Officer of SwiftThink Limited, Ayoola Jolayemi said, “If you are looking for education, entertainment and inspiration all in one package, then you do not want to miss The Journey Begins. The star studded casts of Tim Godfrey and the Xtreme, Banky W, Joseph Benjamin, Lepacious Bose, Yaw, Julius Agwu, Akpororo and Femi Jacobs are gearing up for this event,

Akpororo, who is excited by the development, told Daily Independent in a phone interview from United States of America where he is currently on tour, that he and his friends are very excited about, The Journey Begins.

Directed by Joseph Ofili, The Journey Begins is a movement geared towards building individuals who understand that mistakes, challenges and setbacks are a crucial part of the human experience and existence as well as young people who possess the strength to embrace them when they happen and the courage to move beyond them to live a worthwhile existence.

Primarily set within a law court setting, this story is delivered through intriguing hybrid of drama, music and dance. Then it follows the trajectory of each character’s peculiar emotional dilemma, leading to a thought provoking resolution, before climaxing into a high energy musical performance. Speaking further on the event, Tim Godfrey, the President of RoX said, “In a time like this, we need to create an atmosphere where we can reach out to our youths with a message even in the midst of the mess, that they can turn a new leaf today, and let The Journey Begins again for them towards a better life.
